OpeAre stores all client data on enterprise AWS infrastructure in London (eu-west-2), one of the most secure and stable cloud regions in the world.
We made this choice deliberately. Following infrastructure disruptions affecting AWS Middle East regions in early 2026, we determined that London-based hosting offered our clients greater resilience, stronger physical security, and more predictable uptime than UAE-based alternatives during this transition period.
This hosting arrangement remains fully compliant with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) through standard contractual clauses and appropriate safeguards. It also gives your data the additional protection of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — the most rigorous data protection framework globally.
Your data is:
- Stored on AWS infrastructure in the UK and EU
- Encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256)
- Fully isolated per company — no other client can access your data under any circumstances
- Protected under both PDPL and GDPR frameworks
- Never shared, sold, or used to train AI models
- Subject to a complete audit trail of every access and action
We continue to monitor UAE infrastructure availability and will evaluate UAE-based hosting once the regional cloud landscape has stabilised — but only if it offers our clients greater security and reliability than our current arrangement.
